SAIC Roewe Jiayue 07 SUV Set For Launch With Smart Tech
SAIC has officially announced that the upcoming Roewe Jiayue 07 will soon start its pre-sales period. Positioned as a large five-seater SUV, this model targets the 150000 to 200000 yuan (approximately 21400 to 28600 USD) market segment. In terms of exterior design, the vehicle adopts vertical surface elements with front and rear sections close to 90 degrees. It features a full-width starlight light strip, nearly 3000 embossed starlight lighting units in the front grille, an active intake grille, and a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor. This bold design language gives the Roewe Jiayue 07 a very modern and futuristic road presence.
The side profile of the Roewe Jiayue 07 showcases semi-hidden door handles and multi-spoke wheels. The body dimensions measure 4900mm in length, 1910mm in width, and 1745mm or 1753mm in height, paired with a wheelbase of 2908mm. The layout features short front and long rear overhangs, available in six distinct paint colors. Inside the cabin, occupants are greeted with soft-touch materials and an AI ambient lighting system. The dashboard utilizes a three-tier layered structure housing dual 15.6-inch 2.5K displays for both the center console and the adjustable rear passengers. Rear passengers can enjoy a 110-degree adjustable screen angle alongside TUV anti-blue light certification and an 18+2 speaker sound setup.
Roewe Jiayue 07 Interior Comfort and Storage Capacity
Comfort is a major highlight inside the Roewe Jiayue 07 cabin. The front row features dual zero-gravity seats equipped with adaptive angles, full leg supports, and 16-point SPA-grade multi-dimensional massage and heating functions. The front passenger seat even includes an industry-first vanity makeup mirror with smart soft lighting. Rear passengers get 143-degree electric seat adjustment, heating, and ventilation. An AI fast-ice-making dual-use refrigerator is also included, offering a 7.5L capacity with temperatures ranging from -6 degrees to 50 degrees Celsius. Storage space is equally practical, providing an 834L trunk capacity that fits ten 20-inch suitcases, plus an additional 81L underfloor storage compartment, totaling 915L of cargo space.
Roewe Jiayue 07 Powertrain and Advanced Safety Systems
Safety and driving assistance are powered by the Momenta R7 world model ADAS system. The Roewe Jiayue 07 can accurately identify complex urban road obstacles, predict pedestrian trajectories, and navigate difficult scenarios like hospital entrances, complex roundabouts, and narrow alleys with precision. It can handle extremely tight vertical parking maneuvers with a 20cm clearance margin. Performance-wise, the model uses a 1.5L range-extender system where the range extender delivers a maximum power of 72kW, while the driving electric motor peaks at 162kW. Equipped with CATL batteries available in 32.6kWh and 44.2kWh capacities, the latter option delivers a CLTC pure electric range of 320km and a comprehensive range of 1480km. Fast charging allows a 30 to 80 percent charge in just 15 minutes.
